Indian Railways has converted two real train coaches into classrooms to provide 'Nali Kali' or a joyful learning environment with proper teaching aids and attract more students towards the school.

Education is now on track in a school in Mysuru! Indian Railways has converted two real train coaches into classrooms to provide 'Nali Kali' or a joyful learning environment with proper teaching aids and attract more students towards the school.

The coaches were redesigned with stairways, fans, lights, colourful paintings on the inside and brightly painted exteriors. While one coach is divided into two classrooms, the other is turned into a meeting and activity room for students.
Bio-toilets have also been installed outside the coaches. South-Western Railway officials claim it to be one of a kind initiative.
