India seeks to keep bilateral ties with Iran intact, says report

India is likely to bring up the issue when Michael R Pompeo, US secretary of State, and James Mattis, defence secretary, call on their Indian counterparts - Sushma Swaraj and Nirmala Sitharaman, respectively, during their official visit in September.
India is in talks with the European Union members to find a way out.
Being among the world's largest oil consumer, India has maintained that the Iranian nuclear issue should be resolved through dialogue and diplomacy.
