Anju Seth, professor at Pamplin School of Business, Virginia Tech, Suresh Ramanathan of Mays School of Business, Texas A&M University and Jayant Kale of D’Amore-McKim School of business, Northeastern University , Boston have been shortlisted for the top post at the premier institute, ET said citing people familiar with the development.
While the candidates are highly recommended by the search-cum-selection committee (SCSC) set up by IIM Calcutta, Seth, an alumni of IIMC is leading the race, the report said.
According to the report, if Seth gets selected, she will be the second woman to lead an IIM after Neelu Rohmetra, who was appointed the director of IIM Sirmaur in 2017.
