Updated : April 30, 2019 04:03 PM IST

India’s first blue-chip natural history documentary film, Wild Karnataka, showcases the southern state’s rich and diverse biodiversity.
The film is produced by award-winning filmmakers Kalyan Varma and Amoghavarsha J.S. with British conservationist and natural historian Sir David Attenborough as the narrator.
Made for the Karnataka Forest Department, with funds raised from independent sources, the government is planning to raise awareness about the state’s natural beauty through the documentary and follow it up with wider conservation efforts of the ecosystems.
