Updated : 2019-06-05 13:48:52

Early this morning, Delhi's magnificent Jama Masjid witnessed a sea of namaziz reciting prayers to mark the end of their holy fasting month Ramzan. The mosque was built in the 17th century by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, who also built the iconic Red Fort and the world famous Taj Mahal. Jama Masjid, one of the biggest mosques in the world, can accommodate 25,000 people who offer their prayers in unison. These images take us to the old quarters of Delhi, where thousands of people have gathered at the Masjid courtyard to offer their prayers.
