Day 4: No trace of overdue IAF aircraft in Arunachal, missing pilot’s family wants Indian government to talk to China

Several aircraft including Sukhoi Su-30, C-130J, Mi-17 helicopters and an ALH took off from Chabua, Tezpur and Jorhat air bases to conduct an aerial search in the dense valleys.
Meanwhile, ground parties of Indian Army and ITBP along with locals and district administration officials are also searching areas around Siang district.
IAF said the families of all air warriors on board the aircraft are being regularly updated on the progress of search operations.
