Tamil superstar Rajinikanth's new release 2.0 has garnered about Rs 400 crore worldwide in four days, according to film industry expert Ramesh Bala.
The 2.0 movie, which released last Thursday, earned $52.5 million (about Rs 368 crore) in four days, Bala said in a tweet on Monday.

In India, according to Box Office India, the film garnered Rs 165.5 crore in the first three days of its release. It was released in three languages — Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.
Rajinikanth-Akshay Kumar's latest offering has performed well in the northern India.
In fact, by making a huge Rs 34 crore on its fourth day, 2.0 has given Akshay Kumar his highest single day box office collection as ever. Before 2.0 box office collection day 4, Akshay Kumar's highest single day was Rs 25.25 crore, which was the opening day of Gold.
The science fiction movie, 2.0 is a sequel to Enthiran (Robot, in Hindi) and he is called the “spiritual successor” of Enthiran.
The movie also stars Amy Jackson, Adil Hussain, Sushanshu Pandey along with Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar. The Oscar-winning AR Rahman has composed music for the film.
