    Mphasis: Trajectory for growth is very strong; have fairly strong deal wins momentum

    Mphasis is under pressure in trade after their Q3 comes in below estimates with revenue growth lower than its peers. To discuss the underperformance and understand the road ahead, CNBC-TV18 spoke to Nitin Rakesh, CEO and Executive Director of the company.
    “Firstly, we had highest sequential growth in 10 years last quarter, secondly the direct business which is—where our focus from a growth standpoint is, has actually grown at over 5 percent this quarter sequentially and over 19 percent year-on-year in Q3 as well.”
    Rakesh added, “We are fairly pleased with the way the business has panned out. We do have fairly strong deal wins momentum. On a YoY basis, our TCV wins are up almost 65 percent and on a YoY basis, our pipeline is up another 50 percent on top of these wins as well. Our trajectory for growth is very strong.”
    On the outlook, Rakesh said, “We have a fairly stable outlook, we have deals that have been signed-in DXC segment as well in the recent past and we do believe that as we go forward MRC construct we should be able to sustain a longer-term revenue profile with the client.
