Jyothy Laboratories is looking at more than Rs 500 crore revenue for the personal care vertical on a quarterly basis, said K Ullas Kamath, Joint Managing Director on Thursday. The company posted Q3 earnings with the growth being led by dishwashers and the personal care segments.
“Personal care we have grown by 48 percent,” Kamath said.
The company is looking at more than Rs 50 crore revenue for the personal care vertical on a quarterly basis, he added.
“Most of the fabric care products are back to pre-COVID levels and this quarter we are up by about 2.3 percent and momentum is very positive and next year we should be back to double-digit growth in fabric care as well.”
For Jyothy Laboratories, 60 percent of the revenue comes from the urban area and 40 percent from the rural areas, he said.
In terms of advertising spends, he said, “7.8 percent is from media and that should be going towards 8-9-10 percent in the coming quarters.”
According to Kamath, the growth in dishwashing will continue.
“Because unorganized players have gone out during the COVID-19 time. So this trend will continue according to me, it is a good position as far as dishwashing segment is concerned.”
