Apple goes silent on India strategy as iPhone sales weaken

Apple reported one of its best quarters to date, with its third quarter profit rising 32 percent year-on-year. The iPhone maker, however, was oddly silent about its plans in India, with the country finding no mention in its results statement.

According to analysts, this was no surprise as Apple has not had a great quarter in India.

During the earnings call, Apple management said India was one of the markets where its Mac computers had shown double-digit growth.
