Valentine's Day: Tinder, OkCupid see rise in popularity in specific regions

While there is a whole array of dating apps available on Apple’s App Store as well as Google Play, Tinder has emerged as the most popular dating app with 17 percent people using it, followed by Happn – 8 percent, Truly Madly – 7 percent and Woo – 7 percent.
A higher proportion of men with this intent are extremely comfortable with finding love around Valentine’s Day through dating apps and 1 out 3 are using or have used Tinder in order to connect with, the survey said.
While Tinder has gained popularity in the Northern and Western part of the country, another dating app OkCupid has found a stronghold in the Southern part with about 16 percent of people in South India using the app to find love.
