Statue of Unity completes a year: A look at how it compares to some other notable statues

Built on the river island called Sadhu Bet near Vadodara, Statue of Unity is said to be the tallest in the world with a height of 182 metres. The statue was built in the memory of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India and was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 31, 2018, on the birth anniversary of Patel.
