In Pictures: These Indian artists earned crores in 2019 from their paintings

Sculptor Anish Kapoor topped the Hurun India Art List with sales worth Rs 168.25 crores in the last financial year. Kapoor was followed by prominent artists Akbar Padamsee and Krishen Khanna, while Arpita Singh emerged as the only woman in the list. The report adds that Akbar Padamsee is the most expensive Indian artist for a specific creation as one of his works auctioned for Rs 11.70 crore in 2019.
