2019 Passport Index: UAE tops the list, India jumps to 67th position

The 2019 Passport Index ranks 199 countries on the basis of their visa-free scores and on the UNDP Human Development Index.
The UAE passport was ranked number 1 on the index, allowing hassle-free travel to 167 countries ahead of the likes of Germany (no. 2), and the USA and France (joint 3rd).
Denmark, Sweden, Luxembourg, Finland, Italy, Singapore, Netherlands, Spain, Norway and South Korea are other nations enjoying the third ranking.
India was ranked 67th, as it provides visa-free access to 25 countries, visa on arrival to 39 countries and for 134 countries, visa requirement is compulsory.
Which means you can travel to about 25 countries visa-free.
Last year, India was ranked 68th on the Passport Index. The ranking of the Indian passport, as per the index, has become stronger in the last five years. In 2015, India's rank was 77.
