British Airways, Lufthansa, Singapore Airlines and a Gulf-origin airline are likely to be interested in Air India, Times of India reported.
Singapore Airlines, mentioned above, already has a stake in Vistara, in partnership with the Tatas.
Two Indian carriers, Jet Airways and IndiGo, said they were not interested to participate in the Air India process in the previous week. The Tata group is also unlikely to bid for the airline.
