Following the closure of Pakistan’s airspace, global air traffic suffered massive disruption with rampant cancellations and long delays.
Airlines operating non-stop between Europe and South-East Asia had to take longer routes, resulting in more fuel requirements and hence, lesser payload.
Air Canada, suspended their service to India and Thai Airways had also suspended their services to Europe.
