Several operators have taken steps to assist the flood hit state.
In view of the ongoing crisis in flood hit Kerala, various carrier operators have decided to step in their operations.
In its press release, GoAir has stated that it will operate special flights to and from Trivandrum airport with effect from August 20. The carrier added in the release that all passengers booked to and from Cochin will be accommodated on these flights.
Several operators have taken similar steps to assist the flood hit state. Jet Airways, today tweeted in its official twitter account details of flights that will operate to and from Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday and Wednesday. These flights will connect the state to metro centres like Mumbai, Bengaluru, Dubai and Dammam.
Vistara too today informed through its twitter account the decision to extend its temporary services to Thiruvananthapuram till August 26. “We are extending our Kochi (COK) waivers and temp Trivandrum (TRV) flights to Aug 26. Economy fares are capped at Rs 10k/7.5k respectively one way. Impacted COK pax accommodated for no extra fee or fare,” said the tweet.
