Embraer unveils shark-faced E190-E2 commercial jet in India

As part of its world tour, Brazilian plane manufacturer Embraer's E190-E2 passenger aircraft is in India. Nicknamed the Profit Hunter, the show plane for Embraer's E2 family of regional jets, encompasses the E175-E2, E190-E2, and E195-E. Embraer claims that the model is the quietest, cleanest and most efficient new-generation single-aisle aircraft.

The shark-snouted plane continues its world tour, along with planes that have tiger and eagle shaped designs on them. While the company claims over 70 carriers across 50 countries operate the E-Jets, Embraer is aiming for further growth, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region.

Delivered to its first customer in April 2018, the plane, according to the company, is the most fuel-efficient model in the single-aisle category. As per the company, the plane burns 10 percent less fuel than its rival models.
