Priced at Rs 68,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Suzuki Burgman Street competes with the Honda Grazia 125 (Rs.63,994), TVS Ntorq 125 (Rs 59,687) and Aprilia SR 125 (Rs 66,764).
What distinguishes the Burgman as a maxi-scooter is its extra-long seat, LED head and tail lamps and massive underseat storage of 21.7 litre.
Most of its styling comes from its bigger sibling, the Burgman 650 maxi-scooter, seen in international markets.
This Suzuki scooter is all about offering comfort and a premium experience hence it offers a wide footboard that will allow the rider to stretch his/her legs on the board behind the front apron.
The Burgman Street also features an all-digital instrument console which has been seen in the Suzuki Gixxer 150 and Intruder 150 motorcycles.
This scooter also shares the Access 125’s powertrain and mechanicals. The performance level also remain identical – 9PS@7,500rpm & 10.2Nm @ 5,000rpm. The scooter gets a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear.
You can book the Burgman by paying a token amount of Rs 5,000 across dealerships in India.
