Ducati launches the Monster 821 – from its iconic motorbike series – in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 9.51 lakh.

Ducati India has launched the Monster 821 – from its iconic motorbike series – in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 9.51 lakh, entering a crowded segment where it will battle the new Suzuki GSX-S750, Kawasaki Z900 and Triumph Street Triple RS.

The bike’s 821cc Testastretta V-twin engine meets the BS VI emission regulations and produces 109PS of power and 86NM of torque.
It boasts a six-speed transmission and an all-new dual exhaust, full-coloured TFT instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity.
The bike also features an LED headlamp, redesigned fuel tank and tail section.
Commenting on the launch, Ducati India managing director Sergi Canovas tweeted that Ducati India plans to expand to nine dealerships by the end of this year.
Ducati will launch dealerships in Hyderabad and Chennai as well, he said.
Ducati is also offering the Ducati Quick Shift (up/down) and Ducati Multimedia System as accessories.
Keeping safety in mind, the Monster 821 has been given the Ducati Safety Pack, which comprises the Bosch 9.1MP ABS system and Ducati traction control, both with adjustment intervention levels.
In addition to the red and black matte finish , there’s a new yellow colour available exclusively for Monster 821.
