UPL gets positive outlook from Moody's post Arysta deal
Updated : July 25, 2018 07:31 AM IST
Global ratings agency Moody's on Tuesday announced a positive outlook for UPL Corporation after the announcement of its USD 4.2 billion leveraged buyout of Florida-based agrochemicals player Arysta LifeScience.
Its peers, Fitch and S&P have both downgraded the Mauritius-based firm following the deal.
The positive outlook reflects Moody's expectation that the company will successfully complete its acquisition of Arysta and seamlessly integrate the two operations without any significant delay.
